Understand what your people really think and what to do next

Your employees’ opinions, motivations and experiences impact the success of your organisation. Our employee research options help you move beyond assumptions and surface clear, evidence-based and actionable insight into what’s working, what isn’t and where to focus your employee engagement efforts.

We work with employers to design and deliver bespoke employee research solutions that employees trust and leaders can act on - through surveys, structured interviews, focus groups or a blended approach.

Whether you’re running your first engagement survey or refining your current approach, we can help.

Why employee engagement matters

Engagement isn’t just about employee morale. Engaged employees make a difference across the business. They are more productive, more interested in contributing to business success and more likely to stay with the organisation. If you want to improve employee engagement, you need to understand what employees think about you as an employer and why.

Our approach helps you:

  • Understand employee views, wants and needs
  • Identify key drivers of engagement and disengagement
  • Compare results across teams, roles and/or locations
  • Turn feedback into practical, prioritised actions
  • Build trust by showing employees their voice is heard

How we work

Every project is tailored to the needs and objectives of the organisation. We can support you through one or a combination of the following methods.
1

Employee engagement surveys

A robust, confidential survey designed to capture employee sentiment at scale. We help you define the right questions, maximise participation and interpret the results with clarity and confidence.

From annual staff surveys covering life at work, to shorter/ad hoc ‘pulse checks’ on hot topics such as new pay schemes, we can help you to listen to your people as a one-off or through regular dialogue.

2

Structured interviews

Conducted as either individual or small-group interviews, structured interviews enable a more in-depth look at issues. For example, we are often asked to meet with members of senior executive teams when developing a reward strategy, to ensure plans are aligned to business objectives.

3

Focus groups and workshops

This type of research helps you gain the views of a wider range of employees. We can facilitate employee, manager and trade union discussions to gain insights into concerns, or test and refine new developments/management initiatives.

4

A blended approach

In order to maximise insights, most organisations opt for a combination approach, for example a survey followed by interviews or focus groups.

What makes our approach different

  • Tailored to you – every project is designed and tailored to the needs of your organisation.
  • Confidentiality – acting independently from your organisation, we are able to ensure complete confidentiality whilst gathering open and honest feedback from employees.
  • Actionable insights – we bring together and analyse all the feedback into a comprehensive management report, which can also include practical advice and guidance.
  • Collaborative – we work closely with HR and leadership teams to understand the challenges of the organisation and ensure the project needs are met.
