The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month rate was 2.7 per cent in February 2018, down from 3.0 per cent in January 2018.
The employment rate (the proportion of people aged from 16 to 64 who were in work) was 75.3 per cent, higher than for a year earlier (74.6 per cent) and the joint highest since comparable records began in 1971; and,
Total average earnings year on year increased by 2.8 per cent including and excluding bonuses, in December 2017.
