We are pleased to confirm that Paydata have once again been announced as a finalist for the HR Consultancy of the Year award at the Personnel Today Awards 2017. This is the fourth time we have entered the awards, and the fourth time we have made finalist status. We will have to wait until the official awards ceremony, taking place in London in November, to find out if it will be fourth time lucky!

What the Judges Were Looking for

The HR Consultancy of the Year category recognises the achievements of HR consultants and consultancies. Entries needed to demonstrate a positive and measurable impact on projects that have been collaborated on with clients.

Entries needed to show examples of innovation and achievement, teamwork, leadership, the effective use of resources and HR’s contribution to the business.

Reward as a Business Investment

Our entry demonstrated how we co-create HR strategies to address clients’ unique challenges. Our clients represent everything from FTSE 100 multinationals to small charities, so we focus on finding solutions that suit each client’s needs rather than providing off-the-shelf products. Customers often tell us our team’s prior experience on ‘the other side of the desk’ is an enormous reassurance and brings a fresh perspective to their approach.

Paydata create and deliver innovative reward management solutions that focus on adding value, reducing turnover and recruitment problems, and increasing engagement. We are ever-mindful of the significant return on investment we can achieve for our clients; increased employee satisfaction and engagement improves loyalty and reduces turnover. This is at the heart of what we believe: reward is a business investment as opposed to an expense.

Personnel Today editor Rob Moss commented that making it to the shortlist this year was “hard fought” due to the standard of so many of the entries.

He said: “Well done for everyone who has made the shortlist – once again the standard of entries was exceptionally high, and thank you to our panel of judges who have given their time to comparing and evaluating all the entries.”

Having also been shortlisted for the Best HR/L&D Consultancy at the upcoming CIPD Awards 2017, could we do the double?

Wish us luck!
