The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month rate was 2.4 per cent in April 2018, down from 2.5 per cent in March 2018.

Total average earnings increased by 3.0 per cent including bonuses and increased by 2.3 per cent excluding bonuses in the 12 months up to February 2018.
