The Engineering Construction Industry Association’s (ECIA) Salary and Benefits Survey is a principal source of pay market information. Paydata provide additional support to ECIA members throughout the year by collecting and sharing market trends on a whole range of reward and HR areas.
In a challenging labour market, effective and competitive remuneration is a key focus. Employers need to ensure their reward policies and practices are both practical and relevant. Therefore, having access to up-to-date market practice is essential.
Now in its 17th year, the Engineering Construction Industry Association (ECIA) Salary and Benefits Survey has become an important source of benchmarking information for the industry. Designed exclusively for ECIA members, the results enable you to benchmark your roles, providing invaluable market intelligence to inform your pay decisions.
Designed to supplement your understanding of the external pay market, the report details both the latest information (collected over the summer), as well as our historic database of pay trends on:
Pay and a broad range of benefits for key industry roles.
HR metrics – such as labour turnover, absence and out-of-cycle pay increases.
The collated results are only available to participating ECIA members and will be available in August. Participating members receive a detailed analysis of the survey results that they can use to compare their arrangements to market practice. Over 65 key roles are covered including specialist and executive positions in Project and Site Management, Engineering, Planning, Technical and Functional Support.
Members Pay and Benefits Trends – January 2024 update
With the labour market still highly competitive for specialist industry roles, ECIA has engaged with Paydata as a long-standing research partner, to survey and report on current market trends on pay and benefits. We have been delighted with the members’ response to the January survey, and have summarised the key trends in a short Pay and Benefits Market Trends Report - download below. This should help inform internal reward discussions, particularly on pay budgets and benefits arrangements.
